Straight from West Tower Owlery Hatchery Program, this clutch of salamanders, well newts, are ready to find new forever homes. Unfortunately these babies often mistake each others toes for tasty worm and they get “nipped.” Don’t worry these creatures have amazing healing abilities and tech should grow back…maybe.
These little sweet amphibians come from the best stock and are all completely unique and each one of a kind.
The Ancient Greek physicians describes the use of the salamander, the "sorceress’ lizard," in a poisonous potion. Many years ago, in old times young witches and wizards were expected to bring their own potions supplies to school, they routinely brought boxes of togs and newts to school for use in potions and in other charms. Over time, legislation regarding animal cruelty banned the use of animals in potions and these creatures were bred as companion animals. Calmer than our owls, they don't make for post delivery, but do tend to enjoy to hop amongst books and plants, and provide... vigilance for their owners, constant vigilance.

The newts are about 3 inch while pixies are just half that! They were made from a hand sculpted and then casted in sturdy resin, and each uniquely painted one of a kind with durable paint & gloss. Most importantly they are made with love. Thank you for your time.

(Please don’t eat your new friend, they are art companions and not edible.)
